DiggerSafe ("we", "our", "us") provides a fleet inspection and service record app for earthmoving and plant hire operators. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address and password (encrypted) if you create an account.
• Fleet and inspection data: machine details (make, model, serial number, hour meter), inspection checklist results, and service records you enter into the app.
• Photos: photos you take within the app to document inspections are stored with your inspection records.
• Location data: with your permission, we capture GPS coordinates at the time an inspection is completed, to timestamp and verify where the inspection took place for compliance purposes.
• Subscription and payment information: if you subscribe, purchase details are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details — only confirmation that a subscription is active.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the app's core features (inspections, fleet register, service logs, reports).
• To back up your records to the cloud so they are not lost if you change devices.
• To verify an active subscription, including checking access for employees scanning a machine linked to an employer's subscription.
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the app (cloud hosting and storage).
• Apple and Google, for processing app store subscriptions.
• Law enforcement or regulators, only if required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your inspection and service records for as long as your account is active, so you have continuous access to your compliance history. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your Choices

• You can disable location permissions in your device settings, though this may limit GPS timestamping on inspections.
• You can delete your account and data from within the app's Settings, or by contacting us directly.

Children's Privacy

DiggerSafe is intended for business use by adults working in earthmoving, construction, and plant hire industries. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
